My first girlfriend did that. We dated in high school. She was super pretty, did well in all her classes, amazing singing voice, really good artist, and trilingual before she even hit 18. We broke up right after graduation because we were going to different universities and decided to end things on a good note rather than drift apart or whatever. She dropped out after like two years, has been engaged three times since thin, is working a dead end job in our home town and put on a lot of weight.
Kinda dodged the bullet on that one.

You're 29 years old. You are not supposed to look like a 12 year old forever. As you age you develop hips, breast, butt etc. Its hormones and helps prepare a womans body for child bearing years. No offense but I've noticed white women are hard on themselves when it comes to their weight. I don't know if white mens expectations are unrealistic or if this is how the caucasian culture of women are.. please explain
It may be time to fast a bit.

Here's the guide that I used (in audio-book form). Audible gives 1month free-access as a demo for their services, if you don't have an Audible account yet.
I lost 20lb in 1month in 2017 using intensive schedules and have kept the weight-loss so far using the lighter ones. Fit fasting into your life (not the opposite), or you won't stick to it. Hopefully, this can help you, too.
Here is your issue. Got dumped=bad, sure. Gained weight=bad, not inherently no. Gaining weight is only a problem if you see it as one. You may have filled out but there is nothing wrong with a curvy figure. Instead of being discontented over both, embrace the latter and forget the former.

Girl I can definitely relate. If it was a break up that really hurt you literally your weight are your feelings that you won’t let go. I low key think that sadness = gaining weight don’t let the extra weight get to you your beautiful and I’m pretty sure once you stop feeling blah and start working towards your body goals you will look better than ever.
That was rude of him to say. I can’t relate but I’m sorry you feel that way.
An ex admirer of mine gained weight whenever she stayed single for a longer period of time.
Hopefully you move on and have a great 2020!
