Reconciliation after a break-up?

Question

After I broke up with my ex, he didn't try to fix things except sending two lame messages & two missed calls. I never responded because I felt he showed no remorse & most imp. that I am not willing to be with him again.

BUT I am shocked that he never did any meanigful action to win me back. It was a long serious relationship where he showed that he loved me very much. So, my question is:

How long of a time period was there from break up to reconciliation? No contact or contact?

Could the ex's really disappear for months and then contact you again? :/ doesn't seem logic :/

I don't know why you're surprised. His actions show you he STILL doesn't care enough to bother. He still doesn't see what he did wrong and probably will just label you as his "crazy ex." And you know what, that's fine, because he will learn NOTHING from all of this and carry his same bad personality traits into his next relationship that will inevitably fail. And you know what, you've learned from all of this, and you're a much stronger, wiser, more beautiful person because of all this bullsh*t from him. You'll be okay. He, however, won't until he changes his ways. And he may never realize... Either way, it's not your responsibility to care about him or why he doesn't bother trying to reconnect with you. Stop wasting time thinking about this loser! Think about me instead. ;)

I've told you time and time again that actions speak louder than words. He told you how much he loved you, you were the one for him, etc. etc. etc. during your relationship but his actions conflicted. He treated you like crap, did not consider you important in his life, was manipulative and made you feel bad about yourself and blame yourself for your failing relationship.

it could happen...when I and my ex broke up we haven't been contacting each other for 4 months, but after that, here we go again, contacting each other ...friends again and not too long, I think we'd be steady again...and you know what? I don't believe that you're not willing to be with your ex again.. it's like you're still hoping that he'll be back and it's just that you miss him. the him whom you first met. and that now,you're up to a reconcilation with him hoping to fix things up..isn't it?

well we reconciled after 3 months... and in those 3 months we met rarely and talked like just 5 times... but then missed each other..so...

The percent tile is really low, cause honestly tell your self this, You guys have no reason to talk beside a life check up and that's it lets be real, I mean if you going to break up with someone you got to understand that you may never see or talk to them again. cause I think you just want attention from him because you still like him, cause I mean if you going to ignore him the first time, what makes you think he even wants to talk to you

If you are expecting your ex-boyfriend to come and rub your ego by "trying to win you back" I cannot help but think you are a bad person.

Leave the guy alone, he is in the process of or did already move on in either case, its more likely he won't give a dam anymore. If you want to act maturely, just respect that.

If I were your ex-boyfriend there would be no place you could find me.
