You can remind him, but of it's something you have to constantly ask for it and it turns into a hassle, then I'd just let it go... $12 isn't that much to be out, considering there's men and women that lose far more than that by people that were using them for their money...

He said he would so maybe remind him that but honestly it's just 12 bucks, if you ended a relationship that wasn't a good fit for whatever reason and you're only out 12 bucks I'd just let it go, not worth an argument.
I mean really what is 12 bucks worth? Fast food once or twice? Not being a dick or trying to insult you, and its messed up he isn't paying it but 12 bucks won't break you
Yes, you should. Do you have Venmo or PayPal so he can conveniently pay you?
Let it Go... With Joe. I doubt you will see it. xx

Honestly he probably won't give you the money you can ask but I never got any money back from my ex.. if he pays you back thats great but was never my experience.
Just let the $12 go. The hassle and headaches would be worth more than $12.
Its up to you. But he is an ex, I would not hold out much hope that he will pay you back.
Well, yeah, he agreed to do it, ask him politely, that should be enough, if you were still in good terms.
Yes, why wouldn't you. If I had been you I would of sent it collect and he would of had to pay USPS before he could get the package.
Of course. It's your money. It's your right to try to get it back.
I wouldn’t personally. If you desperately need the money then go ahead.
Yes, be explicit about it. He could have wired the money to you even before you had to send his package
I think it's okay to remind him, but I wouldn't hold out hope that he'll actually give you the money.
Maybe send him a text to remind him. Other than that, I wouldn’t expect to see it again.
Yes you should, I can understand it would be hard to do but you are better off just politely asking otherwise probably not much would happen.
$12 ain’t worth the trouble of getting it back
Never lend money and expect to get it back.
Let it go. It is not worth the trouble.
Absolutely! Get every penny back
How much does he owe you?
