Should I message my ex again or message his friend?

So it's been a few months since my ex and I broke up and recently I texted him to get his perspective on things with our relationship and how he truly felt about us and the ending of things, he read it right away but never responded and its been a week. I am doing this for self improvement.

Message neither of them. Maybe you want to delve deeper into the “why’s” of the breakup but you have to understand that some people are not interested in helping you do that. You guys broke up and he wants to move on, not give you closure and he clearly doesn’t care to get it either. I’m sure it sucks, because you want peace of mind. But sometimes you have to find that on your own, find closure on your own, not from him. Don’t try forcing a situation for your own benefit and not considering what he is relaying to you, it’s selfish.
