if its a constant and condescending thing than sure. because it shows the dude doesn't believe they're on an equal footing.
My dude tends to "mansplain", but he does it without malice and simply because he wants to share his knowledge with me. When I say "i know about this," we simply change it to sharing what we both know/comparing what we know. Its not toxic, so in that instance, it wouldn't be a really "good" reason to break up. But if a woman is going to be toxic (in that scenario) and say its mansplaining all the time, they probably shouldn't be in that relationship anyway

That's not mansplaining, that's just sharing an interest in a topic he didn't know you also had an interest and shared knowledge in. That's a normal human thing.

This issue is that she invalidated is opinions or knowledge, by using sexest terminology to try to get him to feel bad about himself. Not only is this sexist, but manipulative. He deserves better.
