There is a boy that I met online over five years ago on a dating website my friend made for me. We were dating for about six months, before he went crazy (being rude/mean to me all the time for no reason) and ended the relationship. He claimed during that time he was dealing with a lot of mental health issues and could not handle the long distance relationship anymore. I didn’t blame him, and understood him so I still considered him as a friend. We talked on and off throughout the last few years, and we watch a show together occasionally online.
more recently though, he stated that he was in a better mental health state than before. I didn’t ask for a relationship to begin though, but he did. I said sure just because I thought he was ready, but the next day he ended it saying the same excuse. Then he stated that he’ll be gone for a couple of weeks to get it together without informing me if the chance of us would happen. I’m not sure if he genuinely likes me at this point, or is just using me so he isn’t lonely. What do you think?
