Will guys breakup with a girl out of insecurity?

My ex when we broke up told me it was bc he couldn’t do the distance anymore. But I noticed throughout our relationship he would say he thought I was out of his league and he didn’t know how he landed me. He also HATED when I’d talk about any previous relationships (which I rarely did unless it was relevant in some way) which I get but it was to an extreme degree. There were numerous times that I also got hit on while we were dating bc and it visibly got to him. Sometimes I think he’d purposely try to make me jealous just so he could feel like he was worth something too. Then on top of it all I don’t think the distance helped since he couldn’t be there to check up on me knowing I tend to get hit on a lot. If guys are in a relationship where they feel insecure will they drop a girl even if they thought she was gorgeous?

I’m sure insecurities were troubling him, but I think the distance is genuinely what did it for him. You must understand that arrangement is meant to be temporary for one, and just isn’t suited for everyone.

Even girls do it. An insecure person is an insecure person. They'll make up excuse to feel less insecure, or even be controlling to have everything "under control".

Its possible but if there was distance that would have made it worst so I'm not suprised
