I wanted to be with this person and I knew them for 8 years. They were aware I loved them and they cared deeply for me. When she got engaged with someone else he threatened me and I was forced to walk away from the situation. She made no effort to stay in contact.

I don’t feel heart pain anymore but, I do know that it is normal. I broke up with my ex, for a few days I wondered if it was the right thing to do, but the interesting part is that I felt so free! So, it is normal to feel heart pain even if you are the one who broke up with them.
