He was definitely an avoidant- rather than communicate his issues, or why he wasn't happy, he avoided them or called himself trying to "fix" the situation by trying to set me up with other guys (yes, really), distracting me with stuff.

Basically avoiding the issues instead of just saying, "I'm not happy with our relationship; maybe we should break up or talk about things."
