We broke up 2 years ago. After we broke up he came back into my life, twice, but then just cut me out of his life for good.

I miss him so much. I have created a new life with friends, but every time I'm with them, I pine after my ex 🙁I went on a date one time, but knew I shouldn't have, because all I could think of was that he was nlt my ex.

It totally depends on the person and why you broke up. My most recent ex and I broke up because of the pressure she was putting on me with all of her jealous insecurities... other than that, I loved everything about her. It was so hard to break up with her at all and, if I'm being honest, even though I know we shouldn't be together, I still have love for her. She tried to get me back when I first started dating my current girlfriend, and I was tempted... but I threw out those rose-tinted lenses and remembered all the pain... I dont miss her anymore, but it took a while. What I found with my current girlfriend is a million times better than any relationship I've ever been in. Hearts work really funny. Maybe you just have to wait for someone who lights your fire in a way no one else has
