There is no easy answer.

32 years ago today, I began to get involved with a young lady who'd be my girlfriend 4 days later. I loved her so much - already within 2 days before we became a couple - and I wanted to marry her within 2 months of being in a couple. We were together for not quite 17 months when she dumped me.

I NEVER recovered. Yes, I moved on and am married to someone else, but I never got closure and no amount of waiting is every going to fix the devastation that lingers in my heart and soul. I have been undead for over 30.5 years now.

So, I don't know if you can ever provide closure for an ex. Men don't have off-switches a woman can flick. While you can help, we have to do it ourselves.

I am not sure if this is advice, but the way for a man to gain some closure is that he has to get mad in some way with the woman he love (d). In this way, it breaks the love spell and he can eventually move on. However, she should do nothing to cause this; he has to get that way on his own.

Time doesn't heal all wounds, but it makes the pain less.

Why do you feel the need to have closure closure should have been the day that you walked out I mean when you're writing a book reading a story just because you didn't say the end doesn't mean that the book or the story is over it's just time to move on if you want to wait for a month that means you still have feelings there's something there that you don't want it to end is this true this part is to be honest with yourself no matter what no matter what you're going through be 100% honest with yourself

Well, I have to see if my other relationship makes it past the 90 day hurdle before setting you free in "closure."
