No. Maybe about 7-8 years ago (been together 14) when I felt him more closed off and distant, but when we really started to communicate, be honest/open about everything from sex to the not-so-delicious dinner I made that one night, the bond grew and so did our happiness in our relationship together. To add, my responses changed over the years (no matter the topic), and I did not make everything so personal or a reflection of his thoughts/feeling towards me. I started to really let him freely be him.

No. I'd be happier if he put his socks in the hamper or didn't snore, but I wouldn't trade that for living alone.
