My boyfriend of 9 months broke up with me, I was pretty upset and decided to not chase him and try to move on. I ended up unblocking and following my ex a day after we broke up. My boyfriend actually saw that I followed him and called me disappointed, I basically told him that he left me and I was free to do whatever I wanted. Anyways my ex and I talked and flirted a bit but nothing more than that. He doesn’t even live in the same city as me anymore. He asked me if I wanted to come to a Halloween party in the next week and I told him I would think about it. I ended up blocking my ex because it felt wrong just speaking to him. The next day after I blocked him, my boyfriend called me saying how he wanted to talk. He took me out for dinner and we talked and said we would try to work things out. I went back to his place, we cuddled and went to bed. The next morning we wake up and he says he has to leave for work. He asked me when were broken up what did I talk about with my ex. I told him what I said but told him I felt bad and blocked him. My boyfriend was really upset and I could understand, but he ended up breaking up with me again, basically saying that I was unloyal and he can’t forgive me. Although in my opinion he broke up with me and I though we were over. Am I wrong?

You are in the right but he is a controlling individual trying to blame you fro what he has done. This is a very bad sign as in huge red flag.

Sounds like he knew you were talking to ex before he invited you out for dinner and overnight stay. So if it wasn't a problem then, why now? I'd guess because his emotions were high and he wasn't thinking clearly at the time

With that being said, yes you were broken up. Going back to your ex though.. I mean I get It, no one can tell you what you can or can't do. But going tback to ex is Fn dirty.

Yeah, I feel guilty. Although this ex and I never had feelings for each other because he was moving away and we got together for fun. So I’m my head I was just trying to fill the void of my boyfriend being gone with a male that’s almost like a friend. There’s not really justification I feel bad but I just don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

Also he was upset because my ex and I flirted and talked more than once. He said that he thought it was once and a dry conversation at that he was angry because we flirted and talked more than once.

So when you were broke up no you did nothing wrong, but remember an ex is for a reason. I get talking to him cause you were lonely, but flirting with him is kind of a little step to far. So if I was your boyfriend and we broke up and you talked to your ex I get it, but the flirting part is tough because in just a few days of breaking up you moved on and was flirting with other your ex. If that makes sense. So yeah I’d probably say see ya.
