Should I get divorce?

Question

My wife has become a useless cow! She sits at home doing nothing and spending all money. She doesn't cook or clean. She told me if I tried to divorce her she will take me for everything I have! What should I do?

Hey divorced
She will have the kids and you are going to most likely pay for child support but you can always start fresh and renew your life.. there is a way out of you want. Don’t stay because you are stuck that’s the worst.
Also how old are your kids? This is important ,, If they are below 5 or 6 honestly I don’t blame her if she is a lazy cow as you are labeling her. She might have some depression and it’s hard for her mentally to raise the kids etc.
You age range is so young !! Why did you settle so young lol
Well chose the best for your life don’t feel stuck but think of your kids too if they are young maybe it’s better you stay around for some more time because if they are very young they are going to for sure know another face now another step dad whatever.
Think hard.. a lazy cow or a stable happy family with a cow

Like someone in the comments replied, if your kids are really young then being around them all day will be like doing 60 hours in a job week in week out. If the kids are like 8+ then I wouldn’t say that’s the case anymore and if she is as bad as you’re saying then splitting up would be the right course of action. Losing money isn’t the worst thing in the world when you’re sacrificing happiness. You need to do what makes you happy. However I would definitely try walking in her shoes and watch what she’s doing throughout the day when you’re off and then you can see if she really is lazy and useless, as there could be a lot of things being done behind the scenes.

Someone I know is in a similar situation. His wife is a lazy, irresponsible moron. They’ve been married for over 40 years, and they’ve been more like roommates for the last 15+ years. He told me that he took an oath before man and before the Lord Jesus Christ - that he would be faithful until/unless death do them part - through the thick and the thin, and that that oath (and I think that oath alone) has kept him from leaving her.

If you took a similar oath, honor that oath (no matter how thin things get, aside from adultery).

OK, you already LOST the lottery so to speak. If this is strictly a monetary decision you have to decide whether to give her a lump sum of half you s***. Or give her a rest of your lifetime annuity, So to speak.
