Communicate openly and honestly: Communicating openly and honestly with your ex-husband can help to resolve conflicts and build a more positive and respectful relationship.
Seek support: It can be helpful to seek support from trusted friends, family members, or a mental health professional to help you navigate the process of making peace with your ex-husband.
Practice forgiveness: Forgiving your ex-husband for any past hurts or mistakes can be a difficult but important step in moving forward and making peace.

Try reaching out to him. FYI everyone who is saying it's not a good idea should know that Divorce isn't permanent unless it's three times on different occasions that people want it. Divorce lawyers are stupid to not try to reconcile the situation 🙂.
So, be positive and go talk to him. If he still is pissed then you should not be unhappy but at least you got your closure

She does not need to go back to her abuser!

@Hummertime how do you assume she is abused? Did she tell you something I don't know?
The question is one liner. How do you make up such an assumption? - +1 y
She's my neighbor my wife and I had seen enough that's all I gotta tell ya!
- +1 y
@Hummertime I read her reaction to what you wrote. She said it was an accident. May be she should reach out to him

What do you mean “divorce is permanent…” please explain. First time I’ve heard anything like this
- +1 y
@DrillBeats I said it isn't permanent until the last minute and I meant she can work her relationship with him.
It does remind me.
@alwaysreckless93 are you alright? It's been two weeks and no news what happened with your husband? I hope you mend things with him and here reformed.
I do feel a little worried because yesterday I am in a monocular support group and this girl told me she lost her eye due to domestic abuse and I feel @Hummertime was right
hey man, is she alright, please someone tell what's the update - +1 y
Understood

@AmeerX She doesn't need to get back with her ex.
The guy he is very violent.
If he was a manipulative loser who cheated on you, it is probably not advisable to communicate with him any more than required to handle children. You can’t trust him and you don’t need to be his friend.

She can't trust this individual.

This guy just treated this poor girl horrible.
This girl always had bruises on her face and arms. She used to be my neighbor.
At one point this jerk almost ran her over with his truck. If my wife and I weren't out cleaning our garage this girl would have been seriously injured or dead. That's all I have to say.
- +1 y
Hummertime I tough I told you I tripped over a fell. It was an accident. That whole argument was an accident and it was my fault for not moving out of his way.
- +1 y
Alwayreckles93 My wife and I saw you with bruises almost everyday.
It is not normal thing to get bruises on you're body everyday.
I never understood why you defended this jerk so much. My wife was right on calling the cops on this jerk.

Exterminator This girl right here is a good friend of mine and my wife.
We called the cops on that douche bag a few times. And this girl right here denied the abused.
Not to put her personal business out but multiple times the guy kick her to the point he elect her shaking and vomiting blood.
My wife called 911 and still this girl denied the abused police told my wife there was nothing they could because she denied the abouse.
At one point he did try to ran her over with his truck while they had an argument.
I keep telling her to cut that douchebag off!
My wife and I we really do worry for her and the kids.
- +1 y
@Hummertime It's all a misunderstanding.

Exterminator my ex he isn't a bad person no one is perfect.
- +1 y
@hummer
I would also consider her to be a friend of mine. Through this website, not in person for lack of better terms. She has told me a lot about her ex. From what she explained about him he seems like a completely abusive person, if not physically, certainly mentally and emotionally.
The way he has treated her is deplorable in my opinion. The things he has said to her are wicked and heartless.
To be honest from what I know of him I would not find it a stretch of the imagination that he tried to run her over.
Not to put her personal business out there either but she suffered horrendous abuse as a child. People who are like how her ex has been described by both her an you often look for traumatized people to be in relationships with as they know exactly how to manipulate them and find they have been conditioned to accept abuse as normal. They know traumatized people are easy to gaslight. They know people with high degrees of empathy will give the benefit of the doubt when it is often not deserved when they deny their true intentions. They find traumatized people easy to brain wash.
I know the type he is and they are disgusting people who are fit only for judgment. - +1 y
@always
I was not there to see what happened but are you certain it was an accident.
Has he ever physically harmed you? If so, understand there is no justification for physical abuse. If he kicked you or hit you, it doesn’t matter why, it’s 100% wrong 100% of the time.
It is true no one is perfect, but the things you yourself told me he said, and his shameless affair, and how he just left you are horrendous. True enough, no one is perfect. What would we say of someone like Hitler for example? Just shrug and say: “no one is perfect” or say “he is evil.”
I think how he’s treated you can only be called cruel and evil, even if he never laid a hand on you. He has treated you callously and with contempt. I see him as being utterly manipulative and controlling. Abusive in every sense of the word. He’s so calloused he doesn’t even want parental rights of his own son because he has autism and it annoys him. As if Riley chose to be born with that condition. That alone speaks volumes about his character.
Please answer me honestly. Has he ever hit you or kicked you? Is it true what hummer is saying? That he kicked you until you vomited blood? - +1 y
Exterminator Sir I can't remember exactly. I guess I just tripped over something and felt on the concrete. It was just an accident.

This girl had a sad life yet for her to be dealing with this douche bag that never appreciated her.

Exterminator Can you please try to convince alwayreckles93 to come back to the Mormon church.
She has left the Mormon church a few years.
My wife and I are consern and we don't want her to loose her internal salvation at the celestial Kingdom.
Are you Mormon? - +1 y
@Hummertime
This I cannot do. It was I God used to call her to come out from Mormonism.
I encourage you to do likewise. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Because of your sins (mine included and all that have ever and will ever live) you need a savior. Your sins are an affront to God. You have broken his law and defied his commands as all have. Because of this you are alienated from God. In order to be reconciled to God you must confess you are a sinner. You must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and you must repent from your sins.
For those who will not bend the knee to Christ and those who will not repent the penalty is eternal punishment. For those who will submit to Christ, and accept his atonement for their sins as the only way to be reconciled to God, and repent and are this born again, for those eternity in the presence of God is the final out come.
So I ask you, will you accept Jesus as Lord and savior? Will you repent of your sins? Will you ask the Holy Spirit to regenerate your soul? Will you admit you’re a sinner, and that you have offended God by your sins? Will you agree henceforth to obey Jesus and serve him only?
This is the good news, that we may have our sins forgiven by God, and no longer be at enmity with him, and that we may have eternal life instead of the punishment we all deserve which is eternal torment and separation from God.
I implore you to call out to Jesus for salvation, confess your sins, and repent and be saved and to reject Mormonism and leave the Mormon church. I will pray you do so.
By now I’m sure you realize I am not Mormon. I follow Jesus and the Holy Bible only.
I will pray God grants you salvation and repentance that you may come to know and love and serve him and leave the path that leads to eternal torment and damnation. May God hear and grant my prayer.
What say you Hummertime? Are you ready to receive salvation and to turn from sin and follow Jesus? - +1 y
Exterminator The book of Mormon is truth.
You're Jesus and heavenly father are the same.
In other words we worthship the same God. Joseph Smith restored the church of Jesus Christ.
The great angel Moroni guide Joseph Smith in restoring the Temple. I love to show you more about the Mormon LDS Church. We are christians as well.
You can convert and find wonderful blessing by getting temple recommendation get sealed with you're family for internal life.
One day go to the celestial Kingdom and you can even become a god one day of you're own planet.
I have 10 kids with my wife and beautiful blessings. I would suggest try reading the Book of Mormon. The bible is a new testament and Joseph Smith translated the book of Mormon.
You know Jesus Christ came one day to America and preach to the native Americans?
I know for a fact my wife and 10 kids one day we will be together in the celestial Kingdom.
Try attending LDS church.
Give with a try.
I would be glad to get you set up with the elders.
- +1 y
@Hummertime
I don’t think the Mormons teach the same things as what the Bible says.
Do you believe Jesus was both the son of God and God incarnate who died on the cross to atone for the sins of those whom he called?
In regards to becoming Gods of our own planets, how can this be? We are not Gods ourselves?
In fact this is what the Bible says happens to those who belong to God after they die:
“but we are of good courage and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 5:8 NASB2020
Their souls go to be with the Lord.
There is nothing that says we will be the God’s of planets. Only that we will rule and reign over the earth with Christ during the 1000 year reign of Christ while he sits on the throne of David and rules all the earth with a rod of iron.
In fact the book of Revelation states that God will destroy the current heaven and earth and will create new ones in which we will dwell. If God said that is what will happen already, like 2000 years ago, how can anyone say something different will happen?
Doesn’t Mormonism teach that Jesus was just a mortal man but became a god through good works?
At this time I reject Mormonism but I’d be happy to have a conversation with you about your doctrines.
Anything that contradicts the Bible I reject. - +1 y
Exterminator Joseph Smith saw God and the son.
I've read Joseph Smith ask For what church he should join and His said neither were the rightful church.
Joseph Smith restored the Mormon church.
Joseph Smith saw the Angel Moroni.
I've read in the book of pearl and Mormon Jesus' went to America to preach to the Native Americans.
The temple is a beautiful place. I can not tell you the things that goes on inside the temple which is sacret.
I love to share the book of Mormon with you. - +1 y
@hummer
How could Joseph Smith see the father?
Scripture says this:
“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.”
John 6:46 NASB2020
The only one who has seen the father is Jesus. - +1 y
The heavenly father and Jesus Chris did appeared to Joseph Smith.
Joseph Smith was heavenly father prophet.
People will always changes the bible.
I follow the book of Mormon and General Conference. - +1 y
The Bible has never changed. Nothing new has been added. The only thing subtracted is the Apocrypha except for Catholics. Jews and Protestants don’t consider the apocrypha to be writings inspired by the Holy Spirit. Within Catholicism opinion was sharply divided on the Apocrypha as to whether or not it should be included in cannon. I think it should not be as it was written originally in Greek and contains a few things that contradict scripture elsewhere. Jesus and the apostles all quoted from the Old Testament, but there are no accounts of them quoting the Apocrypha despite it having been in existence at the time of Jesus.
The Bible we have today can be verifiable compared as being the same to many, many manuscripts that are literally thousands of years old.
If scripture says no one has seen the father, that means either the Bible is wrong, or Joseph Smith is wrong.
So in regards to people changing the Bible, this is not so. No changes have been made baring the Apocrypha not being accepted by all Christians.
Do you believe there is no other way to Salvation then the acceptance of Jesus as lord and savior and the acceptance of his atonement for our sins?
All have sinned and broken God’s law, therefore all deserve the just punishment for doing so, which is Hell.
Have you ever told a lie? If so you bore false witness, and a liar.
Have you ever stollen? Then your a thief.
Have you ever taken the name of the Lord in vain? Then your a blasphemer.
The only way to pay for your sins is by Jesus. Because he paid the penalty for our sins, God can excuse us from our due penalty.
Do you want to be in right standing with God? Then you need a savior. You need Jesus my friend.
Would you like to accept Jesus as your lord and savior? All who don’t must pay the penalty for their sins after this life has ended. - +1 y
Exterminator My wife and I paid out tithing.
My wife and I got sealed inside the temple not only that but we have 10 beautiful children. Heavenly father wants us to multiply this earth with children.
I've served a mission in Honduras after I graduate high school. Yes I will go to the celestial Kingdom right when I die some day I will become a god owning my own planet.
In the book of Mormon scripture explained there is no help only three kingdoms. The celestial Kingdom is like the high upper class the middle kingdom is the middle class and the third kingdom is the lower class.
What I see and read in the book of Mormon hell does not exist.
My wife and I go to the temple as much as possible.
Before you and I came into this earth we were faithful to heavenly father that's why we are born white with blue eyes.
Black people were curse because they disobeying heavenly father.

Exterminator You can at least help my ex neighbor alwayreckles93 .
Try to at least get some sense into her alwayreckles93 is engaged with a 45 year old guy.
My wife and I are very consern about alwayreckles93. This guy is way way to old for her.
She needs a Mormon guy not a baptism guy that believes in a fantasy.
I did try to get alwayreckles93 to date my little brother who is 29 but alwayreckles93 keeps telling us that all guys her age are horrible and keeps telling us men over age 40 are better then guys her own age.
It's like she hates guys her own age and she doesn't want to give guys her own age a chance.
Alwayreckles93 thinks guys in their 40's are better. Not true my little brother he served a mission and he is a dedicated Mormon. Alwayreckles93 keeps bringing up how men her own age never appreciate house wife material.
I really wish alwayreckles93 could married my little brother who is a good example.
Please just get some sense into her. I see she really got dramatized from her ex-husband she doesn't want to know anything about men her own age much less date them.
I don't know what drove alwayreckles93 to aboundon the Mormon church. Her ex -husband treated her horribly but that was no excuse for alwayreckles93 to aboundon the Mormon church.
I don't what got inside her head to aboundon the Mormon and she joined a baptism church where she met this older guy.
I mean this guy is about 15 years older then her. I say she should date my little brother.
Please convince alwayreckles93 to break it up and give my little brother a chance now my little brother is looking for a wife. - +1 y
