I went on a date with ex and it went really well but he hasn’t messaged?

So my ex has been persuading me to go on a date with him for the longest and I gave in and we did end up going out. He admitted he did do me wrong and he’s sorry and he appreciates me I said to him I don’t hold grudges if I did I wouldn’t be here so apology accepted. He told me loves me and I said if you love me you got to prove it because you be saying it but don’t show me. He told me he had such a nice time with me and he told me I was looking healthy I asked him what he meant by it and he said your glowing. So after the date we shared a kiss and stuff he put in a taxi. I messaged him saying I got home safe and if he had too and he said yeah I did I was just with my family that’s why I got carried away and didn’t text back early. So I left it at that. Since then he hasn’t even messaged me all day today or anything don’t even know what to think about it does anyone else have their opinion or am I overthinking. I do know his car is broken and he will be getting back soon
