He hasn't texted me after hookup, what did I do?

I met this guy at a private party on Friday . I realized that he wanted to get with me because he kept staring at me and always standing near me. He kept doing that until I talked to him. He was a very nice and funny guy, I enjoyed talking to him. Right after my two friends who live on campus just like me were going back. I told this guy I was leaving and coincidentally he also lives on campus so he took the bus back with us. He walked with me to my apartment, he kinda invited himself in. We talked more, made out. When he was kinda getting sexual, I told him I didn't want to have sex. We ended up on my bed but we still didn't have sex. He left a few hours after and texted me right after with his number, and i texted him back saying gotcha :) I waited for him to text me the day after, but I never got a text, so i texted him on Thursday asking how's it going. He texted the next day saying he was sorry, and that his phone was dead the entire day, and that he was tired and asked me the same question. I replied back after an hour and I haven't heard anything from him since then. He seemed like a nice guy, I don't think I did anything to messed it up but a week has passed already. Why did he ever bother to give me his number if he wasn't going to talk to me ever again?

Honestly when guys say that the phone was dead the entire day, you just know it's an excuse. It has happened to me before and the guy seemed extremely nice. I texted him back after that text and he never replied. Now we just ignore each other. My situation was pretty similar to yours, I met him at a party and he tried to had sex with me, I didn't do it but we still hang out alone for a while. It is not your fault girl, he was just playing around. It's good to be skeptical sometimes.

There isn't enough information so I'll just lay out the variables. A. He just wanted to have sex and he's keeping you in the pocket. B. He's busy. when I was in college I hardly every had time for anything yet alone hooking up shit I barely slept and I'm a lazy texter but I will say I never left my number with a woman I didn't plan on seeing again. C. He found another girl to date or sleep with. After I get off my head clears and I can go back to being productive for a little while before my instincts kick back in and a pretty little lass comes strolling by. College is a weird place and men are at their sexual primes.

I'm not reading your whole story but come on girl! You hook up with a guy you met at a party and you expect him to be respectful and actually text you?
If you want to play cold hearted and "fun-easy" girl then own it! You don't sit around wondering "why hasn't he called" you just go and have some fun with someone else or do something else.

Eh, maybe he just wasn't feeling it honestly, or was only really looking for a hook up? I understand you about wondering why even get your number. You never really know until you jusr ask him. His phone being dead the whole day seens highly unlikely in my opinion.
