You are obsessed by him and may be that way in more things than just your Ex.-Only you know if you exhibit an obsessive-compulsive tendency in all your work, hobbies, and etc... Feeling "crazed and uncontrolled" about him, ruminating in repetitive thought, see only the good , sleep-eat is very low, and others etc... are signs of issues.

You may benefit from visiting a counselor on the school that you attend as in primary and secondary education levels Counseling is provided by government.

I and my ex broke up in August, I still think about him almost everyday.

He is in my thoughts.

He was the person who taught me about love and who taught me how hard I can love.

He will always be there in the back of my mind, I will always love him.

But it’s not an excruciating pain anymore, it doesn’t stop me from living anymore.

It’s okay…

He was my fiance,

my world,

my everything.

But it’s okay. We keep living, life has bigger surprises for you.

In my heart, I will always love him, but I will not be in love with him anymore.

That part of mine will be shared with someone else… And that’s okay.

I think I will always cherish those memories with him.

I can’t say a bad thing about him.

Even when I was angry and hurt after break up, everyone knew they must have mentioned his name respectfully, there was this guy, he was interested in me and he said something not very nice about my ex, I didn’t like it.

I don’t think being with a person has a time, if my ex was by my side at any point of my life, I deem him respectfully, because it means he was good enough to be my partner, so I wouldn’t allow anyone say something rude about him.

Especially since this rudeness is coming of jealousy, cause he was too good to be matched by the most guys I meet.

That’s why I don’t fully understand why people talk bad things about their EX partners after break up.

wow thats nice cause usually in my view coming from others is its usually the opposite. like they will start talking crap about the ex because A) they wanna show they support their friend/relative and B) showing that they always disliked the ex but didn't tell you out of respect or something.

yeah i never got it either. i always like to take a complete balanced approach after a breakup. like examine not only the things the ex did wrong but also what you did wrong too. try to have a moment of introspection and learn from your mistakes. that kind of thing.

but for most people they tend to just be bitter and say stuff like 'my ex was an asshole. i hope i never talk to him again!' and it just makes them seem a bit unhinged in my opinion.

So all in all i'd say you're taking this breakup well. you seem to be at a peaceful place with it. i commend your tenacity.

I think it's kinda normal until you find someone you like again. Eventually a new crush will come and it help make it less frequent

totally normal. you should try to focus on improving yourself if you can. focus on your hobbies or try out new ones. meetup with friends or family if you can and just hang out. Unfriend him on social media if you have to jic you are tempted to stalk his profiles because that tends to be a common think after a breakup. take it one day at a time. eventually you'll go on wholes days without thinking of him or at the very least there will no longer be pain where there once was.

Well, if you are still single and you think about ex everyday then it is normal. Yes. The fact that you think about your ex indicates your relationship must have been quite good and strong while it lasted.
