Should I wait to break up with my boyfriend until after he moves out of my apartment? Or now?

I’ve been dating this guy since last summer. When I met him I was really broken up about a split from another guy who had to move away. So I started seeing this new guy steadily I think as a means to try and move on.. in February due to personal reasons he didn’t have a place to live so he asked to temporarily move in with me. So since March he has been staying with me. I don’t love him. He really likes me. A week ago my ex from last year moved back here and called me saying he wanted to see me, and I’ve been on his mind all the time since he moved away. I told him I’m in a relationship but still have feelings for him, and that I need time (I didn’t tell him I live with this new guy).

How do I go about this? This new guy has plans to move out earliest the end of this month and latest June. Should I wait to breakup until he moves out? Also do I tell my ex who I still love my current situation? Or just wait until this guy moves out?

No you should definitely lie. Lies and sneaking around always works out better than telling the truth. When he finds out from someone else that you were living with someone before he came back and wants answers would be a perfect time to gas light him and let him know what a jealous psycho he is. In all "Honesty" you should do some self reflection and if you find yourself in these situations it might have something to do with choices you make. I mean if your ex left and had a relationship that ended badly it might be easy to comeback home and hit up an ex out of comfort to lock his wounds until the next one comes along. Would you want or expect the truth. It's always best to move forward in life and put the past behind you. We all make mistakes but we learn and move forward a better person take advantage of these opportunities for growth. If you move forward with honest and they still want to move forward with you it's a win. Lies have a way of stopping your forward movement and dragging you back in time to the point in time that you lied. It's wasted time you will never get back and the path forward from that point is not an easy path because the trust is gone and everything forward is suspect.
