I moved out last weekend. We lived together for a few months and I just fell out of love and gained feelings for someone else from my past. The relationship felt dead. It’s been a week I’m pretty much all moved in to my new apartment. Is it fine to end things right away, like this weekend?
4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Just be honest about it , when you have to lie or keep secrets from someone you choose to commit to that makes you a selfish person , that only really cares about yourself , if you feel like your soon to be ex is going to hurt you and go ballistic on you then it’s probably best to write him a letter instead of blind siding him and catching him off guard. So by you telling him honestly why you left him for someone else is the right thing to do , cuz it will give him an answer as to why you left him and make ot easier for him to move on as well. Most relationships fail because people do not know how to remove selfishness for each other , they usually think what is best for them without factoring in on how their partner feels , when you just assume things are bad they might not be bad to your partner period , By you latching onto someone else does make you a selfish person but of you are honest about ot then honestly that’s the right thing to do ,

+1 yIn life the only way to move is forward & being that you moved out of your boyfriend’s apartment & moved into your own sounds like you two broke up already but not officially. Have a heart to heart with your boyfriend & I guarantee he will understand if he’s smart enough. Call him on the phone & say we lived together for a few months & we have been together for yada, yada, yada & at this time being that I moved out & have a place of my own I think it’s best if we part ways at this time & thank you for the time we were together & your understanding in this matter.

+1 yBreak up now, there is no better time or moment then when you have already decided you want to end the relationship.
Its more cruel to not end things when your relationship is over for you.
Don't be deceptive and control his reality, he deserves to move on too and deal with the break up.30 Reply
Well, go and break up with him if one isn't happy in the relationship then ended asap so that way you both can move on forward and the less heart break. Hope for both of you the best in life. Cheers

+1 yI think I love the fact that no one judged you for loving a person, and falling in love with another while in relationship with him.
Nonetheless, I'd seriously think deeper before entering another love nest. It feels like you are not yet aware of the Plato dimensions of love.12 Reply
Asker+1 yI think you can’t help this and it’s the process of dating and finding your one

It will be Okay as long as it is devoid of benefits. Once benefits are attached, moving from one tree to another is kinda cruel. Sex complicates things.
With this things it's better to honest and open about it as soon as you can. Save both yourselves the trouble 😵💫 down the road.
The longer you wait the worse it will be.20 ReplyDragging it out doesn't seem like it would be helpful for either one of you.

@Light_beam no guys can get violent not worth dieing for no man has respect for women they really don't they can careless if they get hurt or die.
- +1 y
if you're actually worried that a breakup is going to bring about violence you were with the wrong man to begin with.
Asker+1 y@BoopBoopBeep being with the wrong man is the reason to break up so
- +1 y
yeah absolutely, but every "wrong man" isn't potentially going to kill you... i'd say what was it about the psychos that attract you to them if it keep happening
+1 yI'd have assumed moving out was ending it? I don't know why bother waiting.

My advice is you can, but don't move in with another guy till your ready to maybe have a longer-term relationship with them

No need to drag on the break up.
If it’s over, break up.
If there’s room to mend things, then don’t break up.

😂00 Reply just rip the band aid off and break up sooner is better then later. spare him some of his feelings, no need dragging it out.

+1 yWell. You already moved out so that's automatically a break up. Because if a live in boyfriend would someday lead to marriage.
But moving out leads to breaking those ties. Again it's a automatically break up 🙂00 Reply7.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Sure, just rip off the bandaid. He probably knows what's coming anyway. It is customary to offer goodbye sex.
