My boyfriend of 8 months is moving away next month, should I still date him until he leaves?

I've been with my boyfriend for 8 months. He recently left the job that was the reason why he was still in our state. He's decided that his heart is pulling him to move back home to pursue his career across the country.

We are in love. He said it was a hard decision to make. I feel like our connection and interactions have been stronger than ever since he's made this decision- it's bittersweet.

I'm trying to cope with feeling like I wasn't enough reason for him to stay but can't seem to put an end to spending time together with him because it feels amazing.

In my mind, I have this vision in my head of falling off of the face of his earth once he actually moves. Is this healthy? Should I just end things now? Am I only hurting myself by continuing to see him and be reminded daily that I'm not enough to make him stay?

across the country... 8 month long relationship... he didn't ask how to work it out, like you moving with him (not sure of your living/work situation honestly). i think it's time to move on

I wasn't invited , but it's probably bc I have a home, business and my son here and can't just up and leave.

That's why I'm considering enjoying it while it's here but once he leaves for good , I want to ghost him to be able to move on. Thoughts on that?
