Should we still stay together?

Me and my boyfriend dating since 5 months even period was short still we get together so easily. We both changed a lot for each other. He already told me that we can’t get married as his parents won’t allow but i have decided at-least will try if we don’t try how will we know and it was too early to think about marriage moreover he is just 21 but suddenly his father went to his home country and saw his grandpa condition is not good and his wish is to see his grandkid getting married. his father made all arrangements and told my boyfriend two week before about the girl and told him to book flight he tried to stop or at least ask some more years to relatives and parents but they said they want him to get married he didn’t go against them that much because he is too young to think anything big or smart to convince his parents also he wanted to complete his grandpa wish he knew i got hurt but i still wanna be friend with him he also want to but he scare I’ll get hurt I don’t want him to forget me because i gave him everything. I made so much efforts on this relationship. I don’t know should we stay friends at least or not because rather than losing him forever I’ll stay friends Because even though he was my boyfriend he was my bestie too
