Why do we make cheating easy but not breaking up when unhappy in a relationship?

This is called too easy this is too much respect for self and for your to be ex partner this is still a form of love for self and soon to be ex. this is call doing the right thing

This is the difference of knowing doing it this way is less painful is more responsible for the soon-to-be EX

Versus surprise when they get caught cheating and lying when having an affair for the last past 5 months and now you have to do this anyway

No this is called common sense and still respecting your partner when wanting to separate our breakup our divorce it's just respect do it the right way this is the way it's supposed to be done but there's always somebody that thinks they're smarter and thinks they'll never get caught and they just end up hurting that their partner even deeper their ex-partner and deeper

And the funny part about it is everybody knows this in the beginning of a relationship if you were asked this question if you're ever unhappy in this relationship would you do it right when you're going to break up by just getting a divorce first or would you cheat and lie by having an affair with somebody getting caught and then getting a divorce is common sense that people are too selfish

Right thing to do? Yeah, unfortunately the world doesn't work like that. Ever hear of the old saying "no good deed goes unpunished?" Doing what's right isn't always easy and there's nothing free in this world.

Anyhow, I think cheating is easier because we're typically a lot more emotionally invested in a relationship vs a ONS or separate relationship. We're also more likely to be swept up by the excitement that can be extremely strong sometimes that it makes it almost too easy I think to cheat. I've never cheated and don't ever plan on to, but I understand the temptation and it can be very strong.

One of the downsides of being a very good looking guy (or woman) is you get a lot of attention and in relationships it can be a liability in fact.

No don’t get into relationships unless you intend to be with them for the rest of your life and work very hard to make it work ans be loyal and faithfult to them. That’s the right thing. Not cheating or breaking up left and right. People don’t value their relationships and partners and they have no morals. That’s whats weong with people today.

i don't think "we" make it easy or not. it's really just about the emotional difficulty of breaking up with someone compared to the relative ease of cheating

cheating takes zero strength, moral fortitude, etc... whereas breaking up with someone often does. we do need it switched around though and that's on humans to make it happen.

Breaking up is far easier than cheating. Cheating requires compromising one's morals and that does not come easy for me. Hence why I've never cheated and if I sound bitter it's because I've been cheated on. It's fucked, plain and simple. Calling it easier than a simple conversation only normalizes it.
