Is it a bad idea for me to stay with my ex because I can't find anyone else?

It is difficult for me to find a long term relationship because not a lot of people understand me and it ends up not lasting. I don't know why because I try my best to act normal as I can. Therefore should I just settle with my ex if we wanted different things in our relationship?

First of all, why go back to a guy that I'm assuming you ended things with for a good reason- hence why you're no long with him? You'd wind up miserable just for the sake of being in a relationship.

How about hold out, keep looking for a guy that DOES like, respect, and share the same goals and needs as you do? You say not a lot of people understand you-

Well the negative is it makes it tougher to find another , but maybe treat it like a job , get on Linked in , video resume..
Get yourself out there , then when you get some leads , just break up with him.

1. You are using someone, that you know you don't want to stay with, leading him on, and wasting his time, money and well being for your own selfishness.

2. You are holding yourself back and wastine your own time.
