My girlfriend broke up with me cause I'm too.... perfect?

My girlfriend of 4 months broke up with me tonight (over text which was really lame). She said I was the perfect boyfriend. I was strong/compassionate/loyal/trustworthy/sweet/friendly/smart/funny/etc... However, she said that she was wrong about being ready for a relationship. She couldn't handle the stress of the relationship along with school and all her social responsibilities.

I want to know what you guys think.. This seems like a logical reason but something about it just bothers me. 3 days ago we were perfectly happy together. We spent all labor day weekend cuddled up in bed playing, laughing, kissing/hugging/etc...

THIS is the reason why you should never treat a woman right! This happens to the good guys out there and they get excuses and get dumped. Here are the possibilities. She has someone else or has someone in mind (this is the case most of the time). She wanted to be a slut and go to guy to guy. You didn't have what she was "looking" for. It's not that she doesn't want a relationship, she just doesn't want one with YOU.

You showed all the qualities that women "ask" for and look where it got you. For now on to keep a girl you have to treat her like crap. Even though you treated her right, she saw you as a nice guy and nice guys finish last. Saying that she is immature is making excuses for her, she just didn't want to be with you and that tells you everything you need to know. Will she give up her friends and social activities? NO. What happens when you see her with someone else? What are you going to say about her maturity then? She just cut YOU out of her life, nothing else.

You are going to have to leave this girl alone and never talk to her again. No calls, no texts, no emails, nothing. Communicating with her will just comfirm that you are a nice guy and that she can have you whenever she wants. Stop looking for the reason why she left, and it's not what she told you. Women do this all the time and they try to play the victim and make excuses. She is secure, just not with YOU trust me.

She left you by texting, what does that tell you? That just says that she has no respect for you at all that she can't face you. It's time for you to move on to other girls. Don't chase her, and for God sakes don't be "friends" with her. The friendship ended when you became a couple. She is your EX, and you have NO obligation to her. Even if she contacts you, ignore her. Move on.

Basically what happened is that she's immature and not very high quality and you remind her of it. One possibility is that she likes another guy. When a woman says "social responsibilities" what they mean is "anything I want to do to have fun with anyone I like". The other part is sh*ttier for you I understand but it is something that decent guys face often: most girls are not excited by us early in their lives. They need to be treated like crap by a guy who just doesn't care, otherwise it doesn't feel to them like they're getting a special deal, like they had to chase down what they have (that's how they think they got something valuable - because it treats them like sh*t, women are pretty clever eh?).

Anyway, you'd be best to delete her and anything having to do with her from your life for at least a year now and never take her seriously again if you do talk to her. She is an idiot. The speech she gave you is one millions of women have given in the past to millions of good guys in the past. She was telling you she knows you're great and that just doesn't make her lady parts tingle.

To be honest, there are a lot of messed of people out there who just can't get themselves together. Maybe she just genuinely realized that the version of herself she is right now doesn't fully deserve a guy like you. Some people may pull that "kumbaya my lord sh*t" but the truth is that some people do not deserve really good, close to perfect people like the type of guy you've described. Maybe she's simply just one of them. Or maybe she just doesn't want a relationship right now because she feels she already has too much on her plate. If that's the case, she's kinda stupid because guys like that are hard to find and she's going to feel like the biggest dumb ass when her next boyfriend doesn't treat her as well as you did!

Unfortunately that's how relationships are. 4 months together is not a long time. She was truthful about it being too stressful for her and her not being able to handle it with all of her responsibilities. She may have FELT ready but, mentally she was not. Just move on.

it is hard to maintain a relationship when you are juggling many other things.
I’ve broken up with a guy for the same reason in the past. We hardly saw each other.

She may have been happy with you, but she will have been conflicted about this for a while. She won’t have made the decision overnight.

Don’t let people who don’t know one end of a relationship from the other ( bitter people) tell you that she’s a bitch for daring to feel like it wasn’t the right time for a relationship. These things happen.

You know what I think? That she's a dumbass or just one shady individual. In the saddest case, they are insecure and think they don't deserve you so they push you away or treat you worse, accusing you of things you didn't do.
But let me be more openminded. School and other responsibilities are important, takes lots of scheduling, and being the girlfriend, she has to plan around you as well. A bit overwhelming. The pressure to spend time with someone when you're tired and beat from the day. Bummer... BUT I STILL DONT BUY THAT. If we were dating, I would not leave you for something STUPID like that. If you're perfect, your presence isn't going to be tiring and you'd not be sad about me not always being available, after all you are the PERFECT BOYFRIEND RIGHT?

she doesn't feel what a person should feel in a relationship with you. She can see all the positive things in you and you guys cuddled, play, kiss and yet still she can't feel she wants you in that way so she's cutting it off saying "she's not ready"... when people like someone EVEN if they're not "ready" they stay because they feel something.

just accept it and find omen worth your time that DOES Feel all the butterflies and attraction toward you.

Perfect is a codeword for boring. They need a bit of drama every now and then to keep them interested. Disagreeing with them and having your own stance on different subjects never hurts. Also at the time of the breakup they are just informing you of the decision they had already made possibly way before. I'll save you some time; don't fight it and accept that reality. hey man, I am in a similar situation as you, rolls reversed however.  I broke it off with my girlfriend of 6 months, ex as of yesterday.  We were also cuddled up in bed laughing and staring into each others' eyes.  She was great and took care of me, she'd cook for me, I'd cook for her.. it was great.  unfortunately I am hoping to move out of state in the next 6-8 months and new the end was inevitable.. so I finally got the balls to do the thing I knew I'd eventually have to and call it quits.  Sometimes two people can be "perfect", in and of themselves and for each other.. The timing is the son of a b!tch.  good luck to you bro.
