+1 ySpecifically in family court? Absolutely not, and I know from direct experience. Even though I was awarded sole legal and residential custody of my child over my ex-wife during our custody and divorce trial years ago, I still have to walk on eggshells or wait for the next shoe to drop, because my ex-wife continues to go back to court to request a change in custody based on nothing but the demented motives and denial in her head. She's denied every single time, but every time I request that she be censured and/or her requests be denied with prejudice because she's wasting my time and money, and wasting the court's time, I'm told no, because she's the other parent, and has the right to ask for a change in custody any time she "feels" she has the grounds to do so. She's also in severe child support arrears and never faces even a threat of jail time. There's no way any court would allow a father to constantly and continuously and consistently frivolously file for a change in custody without penalty, and allow a father to be severely in child support arrears without jail time. It's an absolute joke.

The case was originally tried in New York. Now I'm in New Jersey, and it's surprisingly worse than New York.

You're 100% correct.

Not at all. Women are rewarded even when they're wrong, whether the guy is too or not. I would not trust the legal system with a single issue involving a man and woman in any form. That cop who was sleeping with all the other ones in her precinct, Meagan Hall? Even though they fired her with the others, she still filed a lawsuit against the city and got rewarded half a million.
Jenni Hermoso the Spanish female soccer player? She was caught red-handed on video - along with her other team mates - cheering and smiling about the whole Luis Rubiales kiss, but she was still vindicated and the guy is getting convicted. To be fair, Luis has already had a bad track record, but Jenni was still wrong in that whole thing too and she knows it, that's why she cried as hard as she did to prove she was a victim, but the video footage showed us the truth.
But we have to keep in mind that these systems are still run by men who are weak and afraid of women, so they perpetually set up rules and laws to protect and reward women even when they're wrong, and even when they hurt other men.
123 Reply- +1 y
If only women would advocate against those rules, laws and rewards they receive if they actually gave a shit about men. Clearly they donāt because otherwise theyād do something about it.
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace Well, I don't know. For years there actually have been women who have vocally been against men getting screwed in the court systems, and even vocally speaking out against the women who exploit it. But these heroines tend to be ignored by both society and the media, who would prefer to treat them as women with "ingrained misogyny" who don't exist.
But even without women's support, these men in power have the ability to change things but they won't because they fear women and their anger. They are weak men who are ruled by money and their own sexual desires that they don't control. They don't care what hurts you or me, they care about their own selves, and care about women getting their way. - +1 y
The best thing for a man to do is not bother with women. Donāt have relationships with them. Donāt have sex with them. Donāt give them what they want. Donāt protect them. Donāt risk your life for them. Make them do something to deserve all of that shit.
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace Orrrr, we could just mingle with the ones we know don't fall in line with all that spoiled princess following.
- +1 y
You actually know women like that? š¤£

I donāt do female friends the last time I did I almost ended up in jail. Now I canāt get a job better than retail
- +1 y
What I hate are men who are too stubborn and bull headed to stop giving bitches so donāt deserve shit what they want.
- +1 y
Those men will get whatās coming to them. Jail
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace There are definitely women out there who agree with where men are coming from. The men who give bitches what they don't deserve are weak, like I was saying. They don't want to be hated by women and they are ruled by their sexual desires for women. It's okay to want women and want to fuck them, but a lot of dudes just have no control over the need.
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace The money and victim status are far more important to women than men are.

Yes, here is a link to the video of Jenni laughing and celebrating that kiss:

Youāre giving them an in that theyāre going to exploit š¤·š»āāļø you do you but you know where youāll end up @ManOnFire
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace I have female friends who do agree with where men are coming from. Most of these women don't say it out loud because they fear backlash from other women. Over the years even online I've had women from time to time message me privately saying they agreed with a post I wrote, but they didn't feel comfortable showing that agreement out in the open.
- +1 y
So you think itās cool these women are playing both sides of the field? Just to keep themselves from getting into arguments with anyone? Theyāre doing it for themselves. Theyāre hypocrites even if theyāre your friends they want to tell you what you want to hear. Doesnāt mean they actually give two shits
- +1 y
Youāre being played and you donāt realize it and I donāt think you want to realize it
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace Some probably are playing both sides, but I don't think most of them are or they wouldn't try to show you agreement in secret.
- +1 y
And thatās the problem. You donāt think most of them are. Tell me why do you think that?
- +1 y
You honestly trust them?
- +1 y
@SolitarySolace I just told you why. They show agreement in secret because they know other women are going to hate them. If not trusting them has been working for you, keep doing that. For me, I haven't had any problems.
- +1 y
So they spills just bend the knee to those other women? Why should they care what the other women think? That right there is why I donāt trust these supposed understanding women.
You have problems eventually. If you donāt want to believe that, fine with me. But donāt come crying to me when your experiencing problems.

+1 yNO, And I'll give you some examples.
Twice, not once but twice I had 2 different women try to put me on child support and despite having medical records, an affidavit by my physician and MULTIPLE years of test results showing a successful vasectomy,
Both judges tried to find a precident to saddle me with kids I didn't father. They tried to argue I accepted by dating the mothers and involving their kids, so I took on a "fatherly " role model for the kids. It took me months and thousands of legal fees to squash the cases.
In a third case, I was charged with sexual harassment when I stopped to help a single mother with 4 kids that ran put of gas on the freeway. I was in my work truck, went and got her gas, bought her and kids water, followed her back to the gas station only to be tracked down by the police at my job.
I had not had a dash cam with sound that proved my innocence in my work truck the female judge was ready to put me under the jail and she made several pointed remarks about how this sexual harassment should be a capital crime
Dudes, protect yourself. Dont trust the legal system to step up to protect you. As men we are guilty until proven innocent.

+1 ywhat?
faith in the system? Never been in it myself so don't know. I have some faith from what have seen.
Seemed quite fair to the men in cases I was aware, and that includes putting the kids with mom or dad as example. In some caes, the women seemed to get "the shaft". Midwest and east coast. West coast, no idea. The more liberal probably the worse is my assumption of general attitudes to how they think about men and women.
I've seen several cases where the women were making up crap about the husband to get leverage and power. One was mentally ill and I'd assume that of the other. That be the bigger risk... they are mentally/emotionally off, hurt, and will attack the other with what is true to them (or emotional inspired lies) but not true. Maybe applies to men, just not familiar with those cases.
As a step parent, I suspect I'd have limited success. I don't have a right to the kids and courts may favor the childs interests. Then again, I've seen biological parents lose the kids. Life is not simple.
So that for one reason, I invest in healthy marriage and success for all, remain allergic to lawyers.
I'd be careful whom one picks that you can "love" that person. There are plenty of good decent women, but they are people... brains, spirits... things can be hidden and people can change.
I'm thankful for my wife, my life is better... lower stress, more fun, more adventures, someone to love and care for and plan with. It wasn't easy getting to that point.

+1 yDespite our fights, I don't think so. I think men are often treated unfairly when it comes to the court system. Just like when men are raped and that goes unreported or just downright not believed so does domestic violence against men goes unreported or just plain water under the bridge because he's a male. I think when it comes to divorce, men do get everything taken from them more often than not. It just wasn't the case for my mother. But that's rare where the woman doesn't get anything out of the divorce. Usually she does. And so I can understand a man's hatred for women based on that.

+1 yAbsolutely not, no. After seeing what my dad went through when my mom told him to his face that she didnāt love him anymore after having cheated on him with their fitness instructor. My dad is an ophthalmologist and makes really good money now he has to pay her for the rest of his life. She divorced him around the same time his dad, my papa, died. My dad cried in my bedroom after telling me that men shouldnāt cry. He is remarried now to my step mom who is years younger than him. I donāt trust women after my own experiences anyway. I donāt make enough money to survive child support or a divorce.

920 opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic. Been there, done that. In most states separate property owned before the marriage is not part of the marital estate. Income received during the. marriage ia joint. property. If the man works and she stays home, that income is only half his, along with any property acquired. If they buy a house, the equity is half hers. If she interrupted her career, then she has given up future earnings and it is reasonable for a judge to consider that when dividing the joint assets or awarding alimony.
Tl;dr: I have little sympathy with men complaining they were abused in divorce court.

Things change over time. What looked like initially? A good thing can slowly but surely change into something you don't want. Any part of. People proceed with bad marriages going forward because of the incredible hassle of getting divorced and the hope that things will get better as time goes by. They usually do not. None of this is an excuse for giving the woman half of everything that you have accumulated during the marriage. She did nothing to earn it.
+1 yWe don't have the concept of alimony/spousal support here in Japan. In exchange, even traditional Japanese men are not allergic to women who are educated and have careers and can support themselves financially. I have entire faith that our court system is just here. We also strongly prefer to settle child support privately rather than through the court system.
10 Reply913 opinions shared on Break Up & Divorce topic. Nope, I know guys that had good jobs and made good money end up moving back in with their parents or live in a rooming house because they got divorced. The judge looks at what your expenses were before you got married snd that is what the guy has to pay. If there is anything else left , thst is what the guy gets to try and live on.

No... no faith in the legal system as a whole, and I'm part of it now, which has only further decreased my faith.
00 ReplyNo, I have no faith in the legal system in which I would be in opposition to a woman as the system is biased against men especially in so called 'Family Court' where everything completely biased in favour of women, and the imbalance in sentencing where in like for like crimes women ALWAYS end up with lighter sentencing.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI was sexually abused by a foster mom as a toddler. The state saw cause to remove me from the home... however, she did NOT do jail time. And what happened to the Duke lacrosse team again after Crystal Magnum made her fake allegations? And Amber Heards fake allegations? And Jameis Winstons accuser's fake allegations? Yeah, I have ZERO faith in the legal system, and have every reason to believe I'll get totally fucked. Casey Anthony loves the system though.🤝

+1 yYup. Mainly because I made sure I did the right things to ensure it was so. Had a woman try and accuse me of something several years ago. She ended up homeless as her punishment. Meanwhile I wasn't even questioned
15 Reply- +1 y
Yes. See the thing is. For any woman to accuse me of anything she has to lie. There is no other recourse because I am never alone, if I am at the laboratory there are cameras everywhere including my office. In public I am with my wife and children. At no point am I ever in a position where I could have done anything to a woman as such any accusations must be based on lies. And should any woman be stupid enough to attempt such a feat she would do well to know that the last time a woman was that dumb I sued her for defamation and damages until she lost what little she had; her car, her apartment, her dwindling funds. That is the outcome that awaits any woman who attempts to falsely accuse me of anything. Why would I do that when I can just prove my innocence? Simple. She deemed it worthwhile to try and destroy my life. I will give her the honor and respect of doing the same. The difference is I will succeed because I know what I am doing and I can ignore all those little feelings that try and make me feel bad.
