if your going to get divorced do it on good terms. if you don't and instead you take it to the courts than your kids will grow up with parents focused on costly legal battles instead of taking care of them. The money that could have been spent to better their lives will go to the lawyers and legal system thus doubly screwing them over. Children need both their mother and their father and one who are not raised by both develop all kinds of phycological problems.

When two people that have kids get a divorce you have to remember one thing it's not about you and the other parent especially when the kids are around because they're watching they're listening to everything so you want to be kind you want to be cool you want to be patient you want to be respectful because one day they're going to be in a relationship and if they break up or if they get a divorce you want to teach them how to deal with it by the way you guys still with it with respect and kindness no anger no hatred no loud voices when you have all the negatives that's when your kids are going to change for the worst so whatever comes out of your mouth or his mouth you have to be thinking at all times because you're teaching your children still in that moment

Part of the reason the divorce rate is so high is because most people, these days, rush into marriage! They date for a few weeks, decide to get married and start spitting kids out left & right and THEN start to discover they weren't a good match! THAT'S WHAT DATING IS FOR!!! You're SUPPOSED to date for a couple years to see if you're a good match and iron out your difference or just break up. If things work in dating, THEN you can talk about getting married!!

    Too often, today, it's:
Hey! I met a great new girl last night!
Cool!! Did you pop the question?
Not yet but I'm going to tonight after we fuck a couple times.

When climbing up the awareness ladder, finally disavowing the sick idea that culture, traditions, or your own psyche, MUST force you to maintain a toxic marriage. Then yes, it's going to feel very ok to divorce ! more than okay even, it's going to feel the righteous thing to do !

Also the, supposedly good idea, to stay together for the well-being of kids, well, they will probably feel something shady is going on, like something is hidden between the lines. They're not dumb.

My brother wife divorced him last year after 5 years of marriage. They have two daughters (5, 3) at the time and I noticed the older one wanting things to go back to the way things were between her dad and mom living together. My nieces now live with their mom and her parents and sister. They have completely changed from being happy little girls to being quiet when they visit us and not talking to us. I really wish my nieces didn't have to go through divorce though it's what their mom wanted. Sometimes parents don't love each other and think divorce is for the best, my brother moved on from his ex wife and is now happily married. His ex wife is single and happy as well.

Definitely not okay all the hassle of traveling custody and the divorce not avoiding arguments anyway!

That is why some parents who fight "delay for the kids" because not okay!

And won't end the arguments anyway.

Then the child graduated *hi *scool they can finally get divorced.

If the parents are constantly fighting with each other, yeah of course. Exposing your kids to that kind of environment is much worse.

I didn't mind the divorce. I actually sort of welcomed it because it meant that the arguing, screaming, violence & other forms of hostility would come to an end.

If the other individual is bad for the children as well then I don't see that as a selfish reason and is for their good as well

I think a life of less yelling and fighting would be better for them psychologically. Serial killers have a strange history of either being illegitimate, orphaned, or abused severely by parents.

Divorce is always very traumatic for kids. It scars them for life. If you have kids and you are going to divorce your spouse, it better be for a really good reason.
