How should I feel?

My ex just told me he is still not over me during my grieving time. I just lost a family member so the timing is just so off. Don't know how to feel honestly. He didn't say he wanted to get back together though so I probably should just leave well enough alone?

Even though I'm going through a lot right now, I would love to get back with him but the ball is in his court since he broke up with me.

I would say don't do it yet. The thing is along with what you're going through in your life right now, its usually ill advised to get back together right after breaking up because they tend to fail due to whatever broke you guys up the first time around. I would just stop talking to him for a time. tell him to give you space while you deal with other things in your life. maybe once you reach a happier place by yourself you might get back together.

of course this is all up to you. do what you ultimately think is right.

What your ex is going through is normal too after a breakup. they tend to do fine for a little while but eventually they too must grieve over the break up. so i think he's going through the normal grieving process after breaking up.

Everyone is different, but if I were in your shoes I would ask him what he would like to happen. It it isn't getting back together, I would move on and stop all communication as that only makes it more difficult to get over someone in my experience.
