What should I do about these feelings?

So I have a friend with whom we were introduced to each other with a mutual friend and that we have been in a no string attached relationship I agreed to enter in the relationship because she told me that the guy is in love with me and shows all signs that he likes me because he always fills up my gas, he comes quick whenever I am in trouble he always comforts me when I am in despair and he's even finds a reason to see me if he has not seen me for too long but later I found out that he has a girlfriend and it's his long term girlfriend she's been into a boarding school and she is done with her studies we have been having a sort of a fling I have started to have my strings attached and he says he love me but he's not ready to commit we tried to have sex several times but we were never successful since he always draws back and he has introduced me to his friends and family and they love me (he never introduces his girlfriend to his family maybe to his friends but not his family) and he even tried to profess his love on Valentine's day since he gave me a cute designer bag and he said we needed to talk and he occasionally tries to profess his love but I usually brush him off because I feel like if I give in I will get hurt what can I do and i don't know what to feel worse enough is that he was once in love with my best friend but they didn't date but i feel like they still have feelings for each other I am afraid if we take the next step he will still be in for my best friend even though they claim they don't feel anything for each other and i feel like when his girlfriend comes back i will be out of the picture and I really like this guy. Should I wait on him and give him a chance maybe he will come around or should I just let him go?
What should I do about these feelings?
