Good morning! I feel like my crush is being hot and cold when we do talk he calls my “his baby” etc compliments me. Butttttt he does not text me a lot as of recently we talked on Snapchat last talked Friday through text/phone communication. Do you think I’m over thinking this? Maybe he is just simply flirting and not into me as much as I think

It's hard to say for sure without knowing all the details of your interactions. But from what you described, it does sound like this guy might be a bit hot and cold.

Calling you pet names like "baby" when you're together but then not keeping in touch as much over text could definitely come across as mixed signals. On the one hand, he seems into you in person. But then the lack of consistent communication could make it seem like he's not that interested when you're apart.

Guys can sometimes flirt just for the attention or because they think you're cute, without really being that serious about wanting a relationship. Or life could be keeping him busy.

I'd say don't overthink it too much, but also don't get your hopes up super high if he isn't following through. Maybe try pulling back a little yourself and see if he steps up his effort. If he doesn't start talking to you more often, that tells you something.

But don't freak out yet either - just play it casual for now. See how things go when you're together next. No need to stress unless his hot/cold patterns keep up for too long. Try not to read too much into every little thing. Hope it works out!

Personally I don't text a lot either. It makes no difference if I like someone or not... I hate texting and being on my phone all day long. I guess I'm kinda old fashioned enjoyingy time without the need for a cellphone 24/7
