Why won’t he give my stuff back?

Me and this guy ended things on very bad terms, he ghosted me and I sent him some pretty angry text for doing that to me.. in the past when I needed to pick up things I had forgotten or left he’d always say yeah come get it or whatever..

Before he blocked me on everything I asked for my stuff and he never responded and now I have no way to getting to him and honestly don’t wanna make a fool out of myself either anymore by contacting him… I left a very expensive pair of sunglasses and my expensive puffer jacket and a few other things (no he’s not gonna sell it or give them another girl he’s not that bad of person lol) it just makes me wonder why he wouldn’t let me pick up my stuff or even drop it off? He probably threw them away right? I’d be so upset because my glasses alone are $580

Why did you send him angry text before you picked up all your stuff? You created the issue. Now deal with it.

I don't understand why you say you can't contact him now. Don't you know where he lives? Go there and ring the doorbell.

No, I said I sent him angry text because he ghosted me, you would be angry and hurt if someone you trusted and adored one day disagreed you 6 months later. So I told him he was to damn old to play such a childish game like that and he ended up blocking me

I might be angry and hurt but I wouldn't have the need to send them something negative. I would just stop all communication with them. I wouldn't block them. If they try to contact me, I'd just ignore them.

Because he is a loser. He should give your stuff back but he doesn't because he is hurt and wants to get some sort of revenche for his pain

But how could he be in pain when he is the one who ghosted me and hurt me? . Probably because I called him ridiculous and lame for ghosting me? .. I hope he will unlock me so I can get at least the expensive stuff

He probably is just avoiding dealing with it/you because it’s uncomfortable. Maybe have a neutral third party try to arrange the pickup?

I honestly have no one to do that, he lives in a high rise downtown so I’m sure he could leave it at the front desk but he is not l? But i think you are right I believe he knows he really hurt me this time and he is afraid to see me or feels uncomfortable.. do you think he will give it back or most likely threw it away

It’s probably sitting somewhere out of sight out of mind would be my guess. Is there no mutual friend who might be able to mediate the communication/exchange of stuff?

It's stupid to leave stuff like that at a guys house in the first place. He doesn't care about you so why would he care about your stuff.
