Do those objects mean that much to you that you’re willing to go through this for however long it take to get it back? I could see if it was something like your grandma’s necklace she passed onto you or something. But if it’s just clothes, some shoes, maybe cheap little jewelry, then I’d just let it go. Not worth the headache unless this is your way of trying to talk to him cause you still like him. If not then let it go if it’s nothing valuable.

Omg. My ex did the same. It's been 7 months. My things are still at him. I asked him after our breakup about my stuff and he made excuses to not give my things back. Maybe he throwed my stuff away. I don't really care because they were not valuable. I don't know what to tell you. I thought I am the only one in the same situation.

How valuable is it? Ultimately all you can do is file in small claims court to be compensated for your stolen property.
