I need some advice please help me asap?

Me and my guy dated for one year. We broke up recently. It's partially my fault as I moved abroad and I was struggling to find a job and we had to long distance where the time difference was 10 hours and it led to a lot of misunderstandings and fights which hurt him a lot and his parents told him to break up with me. I know fucked things up between us because I couldn't be there for him and I want to make things right again and love him. But his parents won't give me a second chance. He said he can't date me without his parents consent. I have been depressed and crying but I still want to make things right because I really do love him and planned my entire future with this man. Recently he told me that he's really happy ever since we broke up that was hard to hear. After going in circles and talking about it and getting myself together I told him if he is happy ever since we broke up and also aware that he can't date me because his parents hate me and why does he still continue to talk to me, he said he still loves me despite everything. I don't know what to do because honestly I haven't been okay ever since we broke up and I'm nothing close to happiness and I'm not okay with him talking to me because he loves me but can't have me because it genuinely destroys me.

That sounds painful. Unfortunately the only thing you can really do is find a way to move on. I mean, do you really want to be with someone who won't fight for you and hides behind his parents, won't work on a LDR, and says he's happier now he's without you?

I think you can do much better than someone like that. Find someone who will make you happy, is closer, and will fight for you and them to be together.

but I was the bad person when I moved abroad , we had meaningless fights and he still loved me despite everything , I'm the one who fucked things up here and didn't help him solve the problems we had which hurt him and eventually his parents told him to call it off. It made me rethink all my life choices because if I never left the country we wouldn't have had misunderstandings and I wouldn't have been stressed about trying to build a life from ground zero in another country. I'm 21 and his my first boyfriend and I can't forgive myself that the relationship ended because of me. It's really hard.

I understand you feel that way. Moving abroad doesn't make you a bad person. You need to live your life too. Maybe you will find someone in your new country.

I'm not saying it will be easy, but it doesn't sound like he wants to be with you in a relationship. That means moving on.

If you need closure, just vent your thoughts about what went wrong and your feelings on the matter in a letter/email/text and then most likely delete it. If you send it, it may lead to something good like being friends, but it could also cause another fight. Keeping it to yourself is most likely your best option.

Your first red flag should have been the fact that he is easily influenced by others. Requiring validation and approval from his parents indicates insecurity, low self esteem and immaturity. Pick yourself up, brush yourself off, hold your head up high and know your worth. You deserve someone who is sure about you and who makes you a priority, not an option. Someone who can offer you emotional intelligence and stability in the relationship, especially when apart as you are. If he seems to be starting arguments or finding excuses to find fault in the relationship, he is like giving his attention to someone new, but doesn't want to tell you. He is self sabotaging the relationshion hoping you will leave him, and you should. He doesn't deserve you!

Tell Mama Boy to grow up if not he can marry his parents and live with them since they seem to run his life, You are not good enough for their little boy. Please do yourself a big favor and find a real man who treats you as an equal, not a doormat

You give it time and move on. You can't do anything about this. He is not allowed and doesn't want to... and is happy.

It's over. Be an adult like the rest of us and move on. It sucks. Been there before and it was amicable. It doesn't sound like you have given it enough time.
