I was with my ex for 2 years. We never lived together but I was helping him out by giving him $200 to get by. I told him that I couldn’t help him anymore because I needed to start thinking about me. Everything is going up in price etc. All he was doing was manipulating me. Making me feel bad about not helping him. I broke up with him about 1 month ago. 2 weeks in He is sent a request from my bank for $200. I blocked him from doing that. Another 2 weeks in he’s calling my work number asking me for help. I denied him. Now he wants to take me to court lol. This man is a social worker and gets payed $35 an hour meanwhile i only make $23 and hour. I need advice please

I'm guessing he's bluffing about the court stuff. What legal angle does he have? Seems like he'd just be throwing money away, which he apparently doesn't have the luxury to be doing.

Just ignore him. If it escalates further, look into legal options like restraining order.

File a restraining order against him and document every single text/word he sends/says.

Do not utter a word to him. Ignore him at all costs. Is there any family member who could help you out?

I don’t see why the court would rule in his favor. He is financially exploiting you.
