Is it normal for an ex to turn into a different person?

I was with my ex for two years. We dated for a year and a half until he dumped me for some girl. He didn’t dump me for her but waited till I found out he was seeing another girl then dumped me. Months after it happened he was trying to contact me to sleep with me behind his girls back. It’s been a whole year since I heard from him. We live in a small town and we have mutual friends and social media. The more I try to forget about him the more I keep hearing horror stories about him. So far I heard he’s been sleeping around with a lot of other women, had women fighting over him, slept with a married woman at his job and fought the husband, etc. When I knew him he wasn’t this kind of person and it’s sad how he is turning out.

I know a lot of man ho’s.. they just need that one girl that gets him to settle down then he’ll stop messing around.. unless he has a history of cheating. From what you mentioned, e hasn’t cheated.
