What's your standard breakup strategy (if you have one)?

Make a list of every reason I disliked the person, everything that got on my nerves, till I'm good and mad... and never want to talk to or see the person again.

Find one solid "dealbreaker" reason to walk away and just never look back.

Just have an "irreconcilable differences" chat and part ways while we're still sort of able to be friends.

I've never been able to walk away from a person. They usually have to walk away from me.

I rarely walk away, but when I do, I remove them from my life, as if they never existed.

All 3 girlfriends i had left me with only 1 leaving even 1 word of explanation.

Seems they prefer the good old fashioned "Don't pass go, don't collect $200" strategy. Which I deem cowardly.

If and when I do initiate a breakup in a future relationship, it'll almost certainly be her not showing effort anymore and her refusing to recommit or communicate despite my efforts.

In that case, I'd just explain how I can't be with someone who doesn't even love me anymore, and I'd move on

My strategy is being hopeful that they dump me first especially when it's obvious that we aren't a good match. Usually that works. Eventually we become too busy in our lives and stop communicating with each other.

I remember my first time initiating a break up and the guy became very emotional over it. It's so awkward initiating it so that's why I tried to avoid it.

If its not working I will be honest and direct. Pull the bandage off quick. Never get personal. Always face to face. 90% of the time they see it coming anyway.
