Why is my ex trying to come back after seeing me give another girl a gift?

Gave a friend that a girl a gift. Then my ex started to look at me from a distance and tried to talk to me.( in no contact) why would she do this just because she is jealous I’m not paying attention to her? Or does she still have feelings?
