The longest time was two months, but that wasn't through lack of trying. I have been with my husband since 2009, so it has been a long time since I had to cope with being single.
The shortest time was a few hours. I met a new man on the same day of a break-up. Again, it wasn't planned.
If I'm the one breaking up, I can move on very quickly. It means that I'm already emotionally detached from that person and there's no specific timeframe I need to wait. If he broke up with me... It depends. Can take quite some time until I move on from him.
How long was it for you? I have never been married but after a relationship ended I try to move on. Sure jerking off helps but as you know it is not the same. Ur thoughts?
@Alex-Snow This is actually not something I've experienced.
Asking because of a conversation I had recently.
A matter of years and still going on...
Thanks for the mho
