That is what you get if you mess with dating apps. Quality people don't use dating apps because they don't need them. 95% of people on dating apps are trash, especially the men. I have heard dozens of horror stories about the men women meet on there.

the guy i am currently with is actually a great guy. he is just extremely introverted and doesn't like to socialize which is why he is on the apps. I was just pissed when he didn't say yes when i asked him if he picked me

Was he just joking around? Even if he wasn't, what's the problem with the algorithm? Though I'm skeptical of dating apps and sites these days, to me, that just sounds like a friend telling you "hey, I know this great guy. I'll introduce you to him".
