Why do people not accept vindictive mothers exist and automatically assume the father is a bad person for not being able to see his kids?

Yes there are shitty fathers who deserve not to see their kids, but at the same time there are good fathers being kept away from their kids because their vindictive ex is using their kids to cause emotional abuse, which doesn't just affect the father, but the kids as well.

I wouldn't go so far as to say vindictive though. a lot of it is just solipsistic selfishness. Deep down they know their kid is a burden to them finding resources (men). Worse yet is a biological father that is still in the mix making her potential relationship even more difficult. It just makes life easier for a single mother to cut the bio dad out of the picture. Still incredibly disgusting behavior though.

Yes, but sometimes the father is being kept away for a very good reason. But you’re right, every case should be looked at individually.
