Completely differs by what the break up was about and if you as the person that is part of Said break up learned anything from that relationship and if you will work at a better or worse relationship from your prior (s) ones.

I'm sure that it goes both ways, but I've rarely seen those situations end with the person better off than they were in the relationship.
