I have a boyfriend Levi, he is funny, caring, thoughtful, attractive, an all-around amazing guy. I made a bunch of mistakes, using drugs and I cheated on him. I never want to cheat on him again, I have quit using, I have given him my phone, I don't use my Facebook and I have now moved in with him. What more can I do to reassure him that I'm not going to cheat again? I love him and he asked me to marry him and I said yes. but he keeps bringing it up everyday and saying what I slut I am and that I'm just going to do it again. when I have been showing change, and my capabilities of change.

i didn't mention that in September he got really drunk and beat me up, he was blackout doesn't remember and I ran to my friend nathan, bad mistake he has always used and manipulated me and I guess I couldn't even go for support I made a mistake and I know it won't happen again. my boyfriend has quit drinking I live with him and we are doing great I just wanna keep proving myself to him. I just want to give him more reassurance it won't happen again if he goes away for the charges against him...

To be perfectly honest it sounds like you two can't and shouldn't be together. You were wrong for doing what you did and he's wrong for continuously treating you the way he does. If he can't get over it he shouldn't be with you, end of story.

The only solution to what you two need is a fresh start, with a different guy for you and a different girl for him.

Its a valid question to ask ... what's different now? Why wouldn't it happen again? Do you two feel you really understand what lead to the cheating? What would prevent it now? How can he know?

This seems to be an unhealthy relationship. You were wrong for cheating, but he's wrong for staying if he can't get over it. In order to keep a relationship healthy, he must choose to either forgive or dump you. Keeping you around only to check on your phone/Facebook and call you a slut all the time is abusive and is a recipe for disaster.

he doesn't trust you because you cheated on him. you can't do anything to change his feelings about the fact that you cheated on him. the best thing for you two is to either end the relationship or it will get worse. he might start to trust you again though but it will take time keep trying to prove to him that itll never happen again.

I don't buy your bs. If he were so amazing and you love him and you still cheated, why wouldn't you do it again? If you cheated when he was the best of the best to you you'll cheat on him at the first sign of a problem, it's very logical to assume that. He should leave you asap because you have done something horrible though you admit he was amazing and so caring toward you. This is not a mistake, it's a proof you are not a good and smart person. To me also you sound lije a piece of trash.

well he had only made one mistake, put me in the hospital... I turned to someone for support a guy friend big mistake and made some poor decisions... I'm bipolar now on my meds don't judge me

but he has since quit drinking, and I'm doing great and we are sorting things out, and he has since worked on the above I just wanna reassure him it won't happen again, I'm going to counceling also, I have had a lot go on in my life, I have a 2 year old and was with my ex 3 years wasn't a good relationship..
