My boyfriend dumped me because I am insecure?

I used to be confident, have goals, have lots of hobbies etc but in the past few months I've gotten low-self esteem and I've become insecure. I asked him if he wants to break up, he said no, I had some emotional episodes (like crying, yelling etc) and after a few months he said that I was insecure and needed to work on myself, like in the beginning I was confident and secure etc.

how stressful is on a relationship guys?

Deadly. One cannot take that for long. Personal experience. I was on your end that time. And I realize now. It is very nice if somebody takes care of you from time to time. But there will always be bad times and you Have to be able to take care of your emotions yourself. If you let that on your partner for long, he won't be able to take it. Not possible.

umm ya don't take it the wrong way but, when you become an major emotional pain in the as*, it does not matter how hot you are, you are going to get dumped.

i was the insecure one and every single problem in my relationship stemmed from the insecurity...it is really a killer. insecurity leads to other problems like clingyness, bad tempers, controlling behavior, and emotional breakdowns.
