If he DID get it though, why didn't he reply to me? I just don't get it.
My ex-boyfriend texted me after one month of NC, I replied, then he didn't reply. What's the deal?

Trending & News Your plight is entirely understandable and unfortunately a common occurance or so it would seem. Whatever his motive, there is only one thing that you can do...and that's nothing.
Sometimes its the best move of all.
There is a chance he was thinking of you and wanted to see if you'd even respond.
When you did it gave him the answer.
Maybe he wanted a different response and doesn't know what to say now or has regrets. Maybe he sent it to the wrong person?
If you want a response maybe just ask him if there was something important?
Otherwise, just don't bother, NC is NC. :/
You guys have both misunderstood what No Contact means.
Just forget about him and forget about those texts.
He wanted to know how you were, probably because he was hoping you were feeling like sh*t.
He didn't like hearing you were doing great. And he's no interest in carrying on the conversation.
I understand perfectly what no contact means. He broke up with me, and he said "I really want to remain friends" (you know the ultimate slap in the face break up comment). I said "ok, but I'm not texting you first, since you're the one with the problem". So he finally contacted me, but is now ignoring me.
I guess I didn't want to think he was that type of guy, but you're probably right in that he doesn't like that I'm doing well.
You don't want him to think you're ignoring him?
I've never heard of NC where you don't ignore the other person. That kind of defeats the point.
The thing is I don't believe in No Contact, for forever. I find that stupid. It's not like we broke up on bad terms. Ignoring your problems doesn't make it go away.
I feel like if you ignore someone, then you're letting them know they upset you, and I'm not upset. I would genuinely talk to him again.

He wanted an ego stroke, to see if you would respond. You did and he got what he wanted.
Don't respond to him again unless he is begging to get back together.
