What is an emotional roller coaster for a guy?

If a guy who doesn't seem to like you for anything but sex, tells you he can't take the emotional roller coaster anymore, what does that mean? I had told him that we had to stop seeing each other.

If he really has no feelings for you beyond sex, then I believe it means that he thinks that YOU are on some kind of emotional rollercoaster, and that your mood swings are finally getting to him. If not that, then I'm going to need more information.
