Ex Boyfriend broke up with me, treating me like crap?

So we broke up about two weeks ago, he said that he "lost the connection with me". Well luckily I had birthday money to go spend that day, and I got a new haircut and clothes. The pain set in, but I had a few days to control myself, because we had testing and wouldn't have to be in the same room for a few days. We were civil after a few days of not talking, but the starting about a week ago, he started getting really harsh. He's been calling me stupid, and all these stupid things that he thinks are funny, he's even thrown the famous B word out there a few times...

I've tried to ignore him, but we keep getting into stupid arguments, and I'm not really sure why. Any ideas?

Just ignore him. The reason he is doing this to you is because he believes he has grown up (i.e he was too mature for you and now his mind is already after school), and that you are immature for some nonexistent reason. Because he is thinking this way, he believes you are inferior to him, and thus deserve this treatment. Rule #1: KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT TRUE! You have done nothing to deserve this, and the fact that is mean too you just shows you how immature HE is. My advice is just to pretend that he doesn't exist. If he texts you, ignore it. If he talks to you, just keep walking. However, if he starts to get physical- then tell someone about it. Another piece of advice for you would be to just laugh at how immature he is being and wonder why you dated him in the first place. Also, move on. For yourself though. Date another guy and hopefully he'll stop. Sorry if my answer was too confusing/long.

Realize that he is just trying to hurt your feelings. By arguing with him you are letting him know he is accomplishing that. Try to spend more time around really close friends and don't talk about it. Don't even acknowledge he is being an ass. It is the same type of thing as with a bully if you respond they win so ignoring the problem actually gets rid of it.

These things are tough because you were together and you thought he cared about you. He probably still has some feelings for you which is why he is acting this way. It sounds like you are taking the break up well and he is upset about that. He was expecting you to be a wreak without him and because you are getting along fine by yourself his ego is damaged. Try to just avoid him altogether that way you won't be in the line of fire. If you can't avoid him, then just limit your contact as much as possible and ignore his poor treatment of you. He shouldn't get any attention at all for being such a jerk.

none of my ex-bf's called me weird-ass names just because they knew I don't like that sh*t and I would if they even dare called me one name and it didn't have to be the b word, I would cuss them out like nothing anyone has ever heard a little half asian girl would say lol.

i'm glad you're ignoring him. he's an ex now, so he should act like one, stop harrassing you. just take care of you and do stuff to make you happy.

Set him straight 1 good time and then don't talk to him anymore. Don't go back and forth with him because he doesn't deserve the attention but don't let him disrespect you either! He is just mad because you're not crying and pining over him...you're living your life and seem to be getting over it and it hurts his ego.
