and how long was it until they contacted you? Days, weeks, years?

Had a 8yr relationship with my ex ( first relationship) broke up 2 years back. Now I'm with someone else and it's great. There are some moments when I still wonder if ex is doing fine n how much he must have changed after this long or I would just recall my struggles in the relationship.

Is it normal? I don't have much of "ex" experience tbh.

This guy in my office was dating a girl. They even lived together and were planning to get married. One day she broke up and became a kept woman for a filthy rich guy. We hear she even participated in orgies and bukakes. Poor man did not see anyone else.

Suddenly this girl is back. She wants her man to "forgive and forget". Should he?

I've put on like 30 lbs since August. i dont feel like im eating more, or exercising less. my thighs and butt are just blowing up. I've gone up 4 pant sizes in 3 months

A friend of mine just broke up with her long term boyfriend because she turned down his proposal. A month after she’s already in a new relationship with a guy she met through work. I really don’t want to judge but I just don’t necessarily agree with what she’s doing. A lot of our friends are even shaming her for it and suspecting that there might have been an overlap but hey it’s none of my business.

I spent 2 years with a guy who initially said he didn’t want a relationship, but we eventually fell in love. He treated me like his girlfriend—introducing me to friends and family, celebrating birthdays with surprises, traveling together, being deeply intimate, and talking every day. He listened to my problems and helped me through tough times. I truly believed we had something real, and from the outside, it seemed like the perfect relationship.

But over time, he started pulling away, prioritizing friends and family over me. He bluntly told me, “I won’t marry you,” and then left for Iraq, saying he’d been honest from the start about going back to his country. When I asked about trying long-distance, he called me a burden, criticized me for my family issues, and even said he had to tell me what to do about a cockroach in my condo. He claimed I should have understood when he said he wouldn’t marry me. I begged him to reconsider, but he quickly moved on, even saying we could still be “friends on Facebook.”

He’s already back on dating apps, seemingly unaffected by our breakup. Now I’m wondering—was I being used? Was I wrong to think we had something real? What kind of person moves on so easily?

If the break up was mutual and there was no bad blood I don’t see any harm in wishing an ex a happy birthday UNLESS they are or you are already in a new relationship. What do you think?
