Why, after breaking up with me, would my ex ask if he should take the new girl he’s seeing to his friend’s wedding?

So. We broke up and he knew I was pretty heartbroken. When he said about his friend’s wedding I asked if he was taking the new girl he’s seeing to that wedding with him. He said ‘No, should I?’

I just thought - are you having a laugh? We’ve just broken up and you’re asking a question as stupid as that. I never said that but, the audacity.

Why on earth, after a year long relationship that we both hoped would last, is he asking me something like that? Knowing fine well how hurt I am.

Because he’s an idiot.

lol this is why men will never win w women most women. You ask a question asking if he’s taking his new girl then you get mad when he ask you if he should take her. Absolutely no logic. Don’t ask a question if you’re not willing to accept the response.

Ok so then stop being mad at him. You asked him a question which he felt was safe to answer since you asked but apparently it wasn’t.
