Wow so you managed to make all young girls look like naive idiots with a victim complex and all men to be predatory users Sure you dude who are you to judge humanity
I get what you mean. I think the title is a bit misleading. It should really say something like "Why Young Girls Shouldn't Have Sex". A lot of younger in age girls don't have issues with sex at all and can move past it whereas there are women my age who boo hoo over and over again because of man.
Age is just a number, but the things you stated are pretty good.
I don't think this is very far. I think guys have the same pure pressure as girls at this age. It's not only through our classmates of one specific sex, but our entertainment on tv and from computers. Kids these days are having sex younger and I think the problem is the lack of knowledge they have. I think it has to do with the fact that parents don't want to ruin their little "baby's" by teaching them about it. Yes I think it's great to wait until your older, but those girls and boys are making there own decision. I never had a problem saying no.
Erm.. this seems a bit biased and personal as if it's happened to you so you're assuming it'll happen to everyone. Not all guys are jerks, not all girls are innocent, and this could happen at any age.
okay. there are two things that need to be addressed here. one is that, regardless of age, you should fuck, if and when YOU want to fuck. that way, you won't feel used. bow age may have something to do with that, ykunger girls may not be ready for sex yet. the second thing us that not all guys stop interest after sex. thats like the mibority of guys. if you allways fall for that type of guy, you have bad taste in men

Nah I disagree. Sex is a part of coming of age firstly. And secondly, men aren't evil for wanting sex. Its yes or no, either you sleep with him or you choose not to. But if you choose to sleep with a guy and fall in love then get your heart broken, there is no blaming game. You just fell victim to life.
I lost my virginity at 14, to a 14 year old boy. Yes he was a moron and we broke up about three weeks later but who cares. That didn't define me but I know I love having sex and I think life is too short to not do what you enjoy. Sex in your teens teaches you that sex in your teens is the worst sex you're ever gonna have and it teaches you to get good. You can get your heart broken without having had sex.
As 16 year old guy I can say this is pretty much all true. I don't think I'm a bad person, and since I'm a Christian I'm waiting for marriage to have sex. I do know that there are a lot of bad guys, so girls do need to be careful. In my opinion everyone should wait for sex until they're married, but still, just my opinion. Good take. :D
If a guy who is 20+ fools around with a girl that is 16 is that not considered statatory rape? I have to ask the question where are the girls parents when this happened, or in the aftermath? I can honestly say that if it would have happened to my daughter the guy would be on the sex offender register. I agree there are consequences for actions on both parts, but he is damn near legal drinking age, while she is still in high school.
Lol @ u just lol. 16 is the age of consent in a lot of states. I'm 20 and I'd bang an attractive 16 year old. And I'm sure a lot of 20 year olds would.
I would ask my daughter to wait until she's mature. When we're teens, we usually rush sex because hormones oh hormones. Also, maturity is more than an age, but it's definitely not 14 or 15.

Thank you. I was thinking of maybe doing it when I find the right person. But hey, you just dont know who that right person is until they literally dont mind waiting years for you and just want your company. Im definitely not going that far until marriage
This Wednesday in theatres: "Why Girls Shouldn't Have Sex At A Young Age", the heartbreaking story of a girl that was manipulated into having sex with an older guy. For the whole family!
I think it depends on the couple. I've heard the stories of tons of devastated teen boys when their gfs left. Lots of girls leave because the guy gets boring for them.
@redeyemindtricks Yes that can very much be true !! boys , then men , are demonized in the West just for being male !! A 19 yr old solider in the training platoon after mine committed suicide whilst on weekend home leave , due to girlfriend problems back in 1990 , he was thought go have gone AWOL , until his body was discovered !! Thank you for your balanced opinion , we are NOT the monsters that the feminist movement paints us all as !!
I am about to turn 17 and I have managed to stay a virgin because I don't feel ready. I want to lose it with somebody I have a future with and in college.
Honestly, don't feel pressured to put a time stamp on loosing your virginity. I'm 18 and still a virgin, why I'm still a virgin? I really couldn't tell you. But all I know is that when it happens it happens.
"And like something was stolen from you that you can never have back"
That's what I don't get. What is so tragic about that? Why is it so important to them? You didn't lose anything valuable. Any guy on this planet in the same situation would scratch that as a learning experience and move on. A girl though, she was stolen something she can never have back. Why would you want that back?
I'm guessing she means the girls virginity, which in that case is honestly such a common way of feeling when you're a young girl and you're mislead into having sex (for the first time) thinking that he loves you and you guys are gonna live happily ever after together and what not. In this society, virginity is seemed as such a valued possession, one that should only be given to your SO. And the event of one loosing they're virginity is such a big deal, especially for girls. The loss of ones virginity seems more like a right of passage, and also seems to signify the loss of innocence. So in essence it's more like you want your innocence back.
@JustVic_ Yes, I know it's about virginity. I just don't understand this whole mentality. Why would you want to be innocent. Why can't young girls just be curious about sex and just try it without it being a tragedy?
@JustVic_ Look at how it is different for guys. "I miss being a virgin" said no men ever. Why is it still tragic for a girl in 2016? Why can't it just be like guys? It's artificial drama in my opinion. One more pressure point for women.
Bc it's frowned upon by a lot conservative beliefs. I can tell you this personally being raised as a Catholic child that anytime that one of my friends had a curiosity about her body, she always felt a shame for having that curiosity. Growing up I quickly became many of my friends safe heaven when it come to things of that nature bc if you told an adult they would make this whole big deal out of it when it was just a natural thing. As to why young girls can't just be curious about sex beats me, I have no idea why it's something that many people aren't okay with. I really do wish it was different tho.
@JustVic_ I just wish they could feel comfortable living their sexuality on their own terms. Without having to deal with all the shame. Without all the social pressure. You want to wait until marriage, go along. You want to experiment? You can too, and you know what? If it wasn't what you expected, then no biggie, there will always be next time. No need to feel so bad about it or wish you had never had sex. There is absolutely no point to it anyway since you can never go back. So you might as well get on with it.
The thing about virginity is that it's a big social thing. And we are all part of that society. You can't deny the very society you live in. It pretty much takes some kind of hero or social pioneer to go against the beliefs of society. And this specific belief comes from a long history and cultuture that promoted the idea of marriage, which in turn was created because in the past before anticonception, having sex equaled the possibility of having children. And although the man might have been able to deny that the child was his, the woman definitely could not because she would be walking around pregnant with a big belly bulge and later a screaming baby to prove it. Of course things are changing slowly as we can see. But some beliefs still linger deep down in the back of our minds. From another point of view, heartbreak is not an easy thing to bear, neither for girls nor for boys. So maybe that is what they actually regret, rather than virginity.
"But some beliefs still linger deep down in the back of our minds." Can't wait to be rid of this...
"From another point of view, heartbreak is not an easy thing to bear, neither for girls nor for boys. So maybe that is what they actually regret, rather than virginity."
That would make absolute sense ! I hope that's what it is.
I rather they try and fail while they are young then when they are much older. Learn the ropes with dating and sex back then when the stakes are low then use that experience when you find "the one" and you want to start a family. Too many people are completely unprepared for what a relationship means.
Haha too much truth in young high school girls. The first 17-18 year old Senior to talk to that 15-16 year old Sophomore. I know too many girls who send nudes, and other things they regret later. I knew a guy who collected nude pictures of girls like the trophy of hi success but as long as the girls thought he was "cool" it went on. My mistake was spending too much money on a bitch when I should have saved it, or spent it on fixing up my car more :D see we all make mistakes regardless of gender.
Not sure why people get so involved in relationships. It never means anything but experiences which are good and lost money which is bad. And apparently from this take broken hearts haha
First live and learn you'll be fine u gotta learn some day. she will get the same result if she 21 and has sex for the first time or dates for the first time
Secondly ur saying girls who are 15-17 are as immature as there 15/16/17 year old counter part (boys )

No, we're using the correct word. Those of us that are older are well aware of how mature we used to think we were and how wrong we found out we were later. That's something only time and experience will tell you.

But us unattractive guys can't have sex without paying money.

I always paid money to have sex. I can't imagine having sex without paying money.
@Vivaldi and?
Nobody lost her virginity to me when I was 14. Why was he too lucky? Was he the most handsome 14 year old?
@Vivaldi because he was my boyfriend at the time. He was cute, he was funny and I liked him.
And he was one of the most 14 year old.
He was one of the most handsome 14 year old.
@Vivaldi not really but what's it got to do with you anyway?
I don't think it is common for 14 year old boys to have sex.
@Vivaldi no, it isn't. So?
He was very lucky.

@FrenchToast2014 And I hope you end up in jail for it. The age of consent in my state is not until 18 so maybe you better do some legal research.

Yeah... you can say THAT again.
Teenage boys are so easily destroyed. SO easily destroyed. By girls.
Including the boys you're painting as predators here, not just the "betas" or whatever the hell term is popular these days.
@redeyemindtricks They try to hide it, but teen boys can be sensitive as hell.

Either give some arguments or shut the fuck up and get the fuck out kid. I am not interested in your hormonal spurts of emotion.

The moral of the mytake: never trust guys because they're heartless bastards who only want sex. Seems legit.
Hmmm. I think both sexes should wait until they are mentally, not just physically and emotionally, ready for sex.
