Nice mytake, but nice guys usually lack self-confidence, it's not something you can just buy in a store. I guess either I'm too boring, or just plain too ugly :(
I know it’s not something you can just buy in a store, but you can overtime become confident in yourself. Men who think women like assholes over nice guys need to build their own self-confidence, that is, believing and loving yourself first before you learn how to lov anyone.
I might become confident if I get lucky, but that's not very likely to happen, how can I bulid self-confidence if only bad things happen to me?
I know how to love someone else, but not myself, because I don't have luck.
Being confident starts with a mental state. You don’t have to depend on outside sources to do that. If everyone depended on that, almost no one would be confident. Only the rich, popular and beautiful people. But the rest would have extremely low self-esteem. It’s all about your mental state.
So I need to delude myself into "happiness"? Isn't that like having an imaginary friend? I mean, it's not easy to change mental state, especially without any kind of foundation, nothing to back up the new mental state... sure, I can lie to myself, but subconsciously, I'd still know it's not true.

You don’t need to DELUDE yourself into happiness, sweetheart. You have to BE happy and accept your flaws. Please read a book about positive psychology

This doesn’t necessarily have to be an asshole, this can be a nice guy who is exciting and fun to be around. Don’t confuse the both, because i swear lots of men get confused easily by the difference. I didn’t want to emphasize on how thats a required trait to have though. I wanted more to reflect on how being extroverted often goes hand-in-hand with being confident, but I guess I should’ve elaborated more on that.

I guess my observation is that one doesn't need to be an extrovert to be outgoing. One does need to be socially skilled and outgoing, but introverts often manage this just fine.
